Don Reiland

Don Reiland, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Don has held various finance and accounting roles throughout their career. Some of their notable positions include Vice President Finance at Paradigm Health, Interim Controller at Tatum by Randstad, and Vice President & Corporate Controller at OptioRx. At OptioRx, they led a team of 11 staff and successfully integrated accounting processes for 16 newly acquired pharmacies. Don also managed annual GAAP audits and implemented new accounting standards. Prior to OptioRx, Don served as the Financial Controller at Restoration Counseling & Community Services and worked as an Interim Controller at Hunter Hamilton Professional Resources. Don has also held finance positions in the healthcare industry, such as Interim Finance Manager at Hennepin County Medical Center, MVNA, and Hospice of the Twin Cities. Don has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, having served as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Foundation HealthCare, Graymark Healthcare, Sleep Disorder Centers, and SomniTech. Don started their career at Allina Health, Foundation Accounting, where they worked as a Finance Manager and Senior Financial Analyst. Outside of their finance roles, Don has also worked as a Scuba Instructor & Dive Master at Smith Diving and as a Ski Instructor at Buck Hill Ski & Snowboard Area.

Don Reiland, CPA holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Winona State University. In 1991, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy. Additionally, in 2000, they obtained the Scuba Instructor (inactive/sustaining) certification from the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI). In 2006, they received the Advanced Coastal Cruising certification from the American Sailing Association (ASA). Lastly, in 2014, they obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
