Joseph Flores

Joseph Flores is currently a founding engineer for frontend at Paradime Labs. Prior to this, they were head of product analytics at Revolut from February 2020 to November 2020. In this role, they worked on the platform and framework for product analytics for the Retail mobile app including data quality, testing and observability algorithms, anomaly detection and automated root cause analysis for key business indicators, and various business metric definitions using the concept of activity states and state transitions. Joseph was also responsible for the internal platform for managing product releases using feature flags including statistical routines to monitor key metrics and automatic feature rollback for regressions, mobile SDK and data engineering pipelines to handle more than 4000 req/s, and app version and rollout management.

From February 2019 to January 2020, Flores held the title of head of insights and co-head of growth at Octopus. In this role, they were responsible for leading the insights team and partnering with the growth team to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives.

Prior to Octopus, Flores worked as a senior associate at Goldman Sachs from September 2015 to May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for providing analysis and recommendations to clients in the technology, media, and telecom industries.

Flores began their career as a business development intern at Property_Partner from March 2015 to May 2015. In this role, they were responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in the UK property market.

From January 2015 to June 2015, Flores was a Seedcamp associate intern at Seedcamp, where they were responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in early-stage technology companies.

Joseph Flores has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the London Business School, where they specialized in finance, private equity, and strategy. Joseph also has an M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in aerospace engineering, and a B.E. from Jadavpur University in civil engineering. In addition, Joseph has completed certification programs in growth series from Reforge, digital sound design from Coursera, computational investing from Coursera, gamification from Coursera, and Six Sigma Green Belt from GE.
