Sheryl Temple

In 1998, the Lord opened the door for Sheryl and her family to move to Arizona to take the helm of PVCP after serving in teaching and leadership roles at a premier Christian school in Annapolis, Maryland. Sheryl arrived at PVCP with a vision to develop PVCP into a leading Christian school that stretches students’ minds, transforms their hearts with the love of Christ, and challenges them to pursue truth in all avenues of life.

In 2009, after years of seeking the Lord and conducting intensive research, PVCP’s upper school was launched, which has quickly developed a reputation as a leading Christian liberal arts school. Today, the upper school continues to grow as parents seek an institution that immerses children in a rich, humanities-based education grounded in a Christian worldview and the western tradition. Sheryl’s prayer is that as students move throughout their time at PVCP, they develop a steadfast, personal covenant of salvation and are fully equipped to counter false worldviews of knowledge, existence, and ethics. Under Sheryl’s leadership, every student at PVCP is loved, valued, and challenged to discover that all Creation and fields of knowledge reveal God and His glory.
