Jill Barragan

Jill Barragan serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Business Operations for the Paradise Valley Unified School District and is a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet.

She oversees Finance & Budget, Purchasing, Facilities & Construction, Nutrition & Wellness, and Transportation.

Before her time with PVSchools, Jill served the Avondale Elementary School District in a similar capacity for over 11 years. She also worked for the Arizona Department of Education in the school finance division. Barragan began her career as an accountant for the Salvation Army.

Jill was also elected to the executive board of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials (AASBO) and served as Treasurer, Vice President, President-Elect, President, and Immediate Past President from July 2014 – July 2020.

She represents her local community on the Laveen Elementary School District Governing Board. She was appointed by the Maricopa County Education Service Agency in 2013 and was elected in 2014 and 2018 for a four-year seat. She currently sits on the board as President.
