Steven Jeras

Steven Jeras is the Assistant Superintendent - Elementary Leadership and is a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet.

He oversees the elementary school principals and the directors of Community Education and Student Services (Elementary).

Before his current position, Dr. Jeras served as the director of Student Services (Elementary) and Assessment in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. As the principal of Sandpiper Elementary School, he helped develop the district’s first language immersion program. He also served as a middle school assistant principal and high school teacher in PVSchools.

Dr. Jeras earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. He also holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from NAU and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Arizona State University.

Dr. Jeras is a product of PVSchools, having graduated from Shadow Mountain High School.
