Björn Persson Mattsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a telemarketer at Phonica AB, where they gained experience in customer contact and selling techniques. Björn then took on a summer job as a mail carrier at Posten AB for three consecutive years, developing skills in working under tight schedules and problem-solving. In 2015, Björn worked as a software developer at Comsol Multiphysics GmbH, where they designed and developed an application for automating workflow processes. Björn also represented the company at the International Supercomputing Conference. In 2016, they worked as a master thesis student at Volvo Group Trucks Technology, focusing on predictive risk estimation and traffic simulation. During the same period, they also worked as a software engineer and data scientist at Ericsson, specializing in data handling and analytics. In 2016, Björn joined HiQ Göteborg AB as a consultant, working on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data management projects within the automotive department. Björn participated in the company's trainee program for Autonomous Driving. Following this, they worked at Volvo Group Trucks Technology as a software engineer and data management specialist until 2018. During this time, they transitioned to Wavr Tech AB as a system developer in machine learning. Currently, Björn holds the role of a game programmer at Paradox Interactive since 2020.

Björn Persson Mattsson completed their education with a Master's Degree in Complex Adaptive Systems from Chalmers University of Technology, which they attended from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university, studying from 2011 to 2014.

Before pursuing higher education, Björn attended Dalarna University in 2010 to 2012, focusing on Linguistics. Björn also briefly studied Computer Games and Programming Skills at Blekinge Institute of Technology in 2011. Their secondary education was completed at Haraldsbogymnasiet between 2007 and 2010, where they earned an Upper secondary diploma with a specialization in Natural Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Björn has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. Björn became a SAFe® 4 Certified Practitioner through Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2018. Björn also obtained a certification in Machine Learning Toolbox from DataCamp in October 2017 and completed training in Unsupervised Learning in Python from the same institution in May 2017. Further, they completed a course in Machine Learning through Coursera in June 2014.
