Chad Uhl has work experience in both the gaming industry and the academic field. In 2021, they started working as a Game Designer at Paradox Interactive. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, they worked at The University of Kansas, where they held multiple roles. These roles include Developer, where they designed an interactive site for displaying 3D models of artifacts and monuments from ancient Turkey; Lecturer, where they taught various courses on ancient epic poetry and served as a teaching assistant for Greek and Roman mythology; Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they taught an Intermediate Latin class focused on the Aeneid; and Research Assistant, where they led a team responsible for designing a new website and restructuring the database for the Wilcox Classical Museum.

Chad Uhl's education history begins in 2013 when they enrolled at The University of Kansas to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Classical and Ancient Studies. Chad completed their undergraduate studies in 2018. During this time, Chad also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Glasgow in 2017 as part of their Bachelor's Degree program.

Following their undergraduate studies, Chad continued their education at The University of Kansas and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Classics from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they pursued further certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2018, Chad received a certification in Ancient Greek and Roman Numismatics from the National Hellenic Research Foundation. A year later, in 2019, they obtained certification as a First Mate/Mate from the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.
