Jakub Gabryel has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jakub is currently working at Paradox Interactive as a Release Engineer, where their responsibilities include delivering builds to customers, setting up pipelines for continuous integration, and improving processes through tools and automations. Prior to that, they worked at ERGO Technology & Services as a Senior Cloud Dev Engineer.

Earlier in their career, Jakub worked at Samsung Electronics Polska as a Software Engineer, where they focused on problem analysis, test case preparation, and Python tool development. Jakub also worked at Opera TV as a Software QA Engineer, where they handled problem analysis, created Java Selenium frameworks, and contributed to internal test harness development.

Before joining Opera TV, Jakub worked at Public Consulting Group as a Quality Assurance Analyst and at Grupa Pracuj as a Quality Assurance Specialist. Jakub began their career at QLOC S.A. and Cenega Poland as a Quality Assurance Specialist and Junior Quality Assurance Specialist, respectively.

Overall, Jakub has gained expertise in release engineering, cloud development, QA management, and problem analysis throughout their career.

Jakub Gabryel attended the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a degree in New Media Arts with a focus on Graphics. In addition to their formal education, they also hold several certifications. In 2021, they obtained the CKAD certification from The Linux Foundation. In 2012, they obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level certification from Stowarzyszenie Jakości Systemów Informatycznych (Polish Testing Board). Furthermore, in 2006, they obtained the First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge.
