Jonas Wickerström has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles at different companies. Jonas began their career at Preem Petroleum AB in 2008, where they worked as a Lab Technician until 2012. In 2013, they joined Paradox Interactive, firstly as a Master Thesis Intern, where they collaborated with a friend to explore ways of supporting players in creating and sharing their own stories in games. This involved a range of tasks including user research, interaction design, user testing, and implementation in C++. Later in the same year, Jonas took up the role of GUI Programmer at Paradox Interactive, where they were responsible for GUI design and implementation for an undisclosed project. In 2016, they assumed the position of UX Designer at the same company, and continues to contribute in this role.
Jonas Wickerström's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Hvitfeldtska Gymnasiet, where they studied Natural Sciences. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Chalmers University of Technology in 2008 and pursued a Master of Science in Engineering in the field of Information Technology. Jonas successfully completed this degree in 2013. Additionally, during this period, from 2011 to 2013, Jonas also obtained a Master's Degree in Interaction Design from the same university.
