Karim Muammar has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Starting in 2002, they worked as an Editor at Namni Group AB, where they planned and supervised the content of a digital TV channel. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as a Communication Specialist at Strateg Fastighetskonsult AB, conducting interviews and providing customer support. In 2006, they joined The Company P as a Game Designer and Lead Writer, where they wrote plot and dialogues for mobile-based RPGs and collaborated with different studios. In 2008, they worked as a Game Console Technician at PSX-Care, conducting repairs and providing customer service. Karim also worked as an Audiobook Narrator at Voice Professional during the same year. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an IT Support Specialist at TNG, providing support for hospitals and private practitioners. Karim then worked as an IT Technician at Brainpeople, providing support for the company's IT environment. In 2015, Karim joined Paradox Interactive as a QA Tester and later became a Content Designer, where they wrote event chains and storylines for the game Hearts of Iron 4. Karim also worked as an Editor in Chief at White Wolf Entertainment from 2016 to 2019, managing editing, proofing, and game design work. Currently, they are working as a Brand Editor at Paradox Interactive.

Karim Muammar has pursued various fields of study throughout their education. From 1990 to 1993, they attended Sandbackaskolan Arvidsjaur, where they completed a three-year program in Natural Sciences. Karim then continued their studies and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Games from Stockholm and Umeå University between 1996 and 2007. In 1998 and 1999, Karim also attended Kulturama for a one-year Acting program. Lastly, in 2009 and 2010, they enrolled in NTI-skolan Stockholm to enhance their skills in Networking and LAN/WAN Management, completing a 600p course.
