Catherine Abad-Santos, PMP, CSM, CSPO

Catherine Abad-Santos has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Catherine started their career in 2008 at Wunderman DC as a Program Manager, Marketing Intelligence. In this role, they managed marketing intelligence programs.

In 2010, they joined the Student and Exchange Visitor Program as a Business Analyst. Catherine'sresponsibilities included maintaining project schedules, gathering requirements, and training team members on the use of Kanban boards.

At the same company, they later became a Group Lead, where they recruited and trained staff, facilitated daily scrum meetings, and identified and resolved impediments.

In 2019, Catherine joined Paradyme Management Inc. Initially, they worked as a Project Manager/Product Owner, where they developed project plans and facilitated requirements gathering meetings.

Currently, they hold the role of Project Manager/Release Train Engineer at Paradyme Management Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing project management and release train engineering.

Catherine Abad-Santos holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication from the University of Maryland, which they obtained in 2005. Catherine obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2019. In April 2019, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance, followed by the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification in March 2019, also from the Scrum Alliance. Prior to these certifications, Catherine obtained the HDI Certification from the Help Desk Institute in August 2016 and the ITIL Foundation v3 certification from EXIM in February 2012.
