Johann van Rooyen

Johann van Rooyen is a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer at Paradyn, with extensive experience in supporting clients' LAN/WAN, Server, and Cloud infrastructure operations since June 2018. Responsibilities include ensuring security and integrity of systems and data, alongside project management to assess and fulfill client requirements for Information Systems with reliable hardware and software solutions. Prior to this role, Johann served as an IT Support Engineer at Lightstone Consumer from August 2013 to April 2018, focusing on hardware and software support for administrative users and helpdesk, including installation and maintenance of Dell hardware and Windows Server systems, as well as monitoring HyperV Virtual Machines. Johann obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theological Studies from S.A.T.S between 2017 and 2021, and completed education at Witbank High School from 1987 to 1991.
