Alex Tsiatas

Alex Tsiatas has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Alex began their career at Google as a Software Engineering Intern and later worked as a Software Engineer focusing on Risk. Alex then joined Square, where they held positions such as Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, and ultimately Head of Risk Engineering. At Patreon, they served as an Engineering Leader before moving to Parafin as the Head of Engineering. In addition to their industry roles, Alex also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and Instructor at UC San Diego.

Alex Tsiatas completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Cornell University in 2008. Alex furthered their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from UC San Diego in 2012.
