Karan Ganju

Karan Ganju is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in engineering leadership and machine learning applications. Currently serving as the Merchant Decisioning Engineering Lead and Underwriting Engineering Lead at Parafin since April 2022, Karan has previously held the role of Senior Software Engineer at the same company. Karan's experience includes a position as a Software Engineer at Google from July 2018 to February 2022, and a machine learning internship at Twitter, where tweet search results were significantly improved. Additionally, Karan has worked as a Digital Forensics Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and held internships in security analysis at Samsung Electronics and backend development at TinyOwl. Karan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
