Development Engineer at Paragon

Frederico Dias Brandão has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Frederico started their career as a Teaching Research Assistant at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in 2003 and later worked as an Assistant Researcher. In 2012, they became a Postdoctoral Scientist at TU Dortmund University, a position they held until 2014. Frederico then joined Universität Paderborn as a Research Investigator for a few months before moving back to Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais as a Postdoctoral Scientist. In 2017, Frederico joined MIG Material Innovative Gesellschaft MbH as a Material Scientist and eventually became the Head of Research and Development. In 2020, they joined MEET Battery Research Center as a Research Scientist. Most recently, they have been working as a Development Engineer at paragon GmbH & Co. KGaA since June 2022.

Frederico Dias Brandão completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 2002 to 2006. Frederico then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics from the same institution, completing it from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they furthered their education at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics, graduating in 2012.
