Sietse Jonkman

Sietse Jonkman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and corporate strategy within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Portfolio Management at Paragon Biosciences since October 2025, Sietse previously held significant roles at Sarepta Therapeutics, where responsibilities included leading global program teams in Neuroscience and Neuromuscular indications, as well as overseeing corporate strategic planning. Earlier career experiences include program development management at Finch Therapeutics Group and consulting positions at The Boston Consulting Group. Sietse's research background includes a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Cambridge, alongside substantial publications and contributions to scientific journals. Sietse is also a co-founder of Tribe-Y, a start-up focused on the student market.
