Romain BIZARD has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Romain started their career at SOWINE, a marketing and communication consulting company specializing in wine and spirits, where they worked as an Internship Sales & Marketing Project Manager in Paris. Here, they were responsible for conceiving and implementing marketing strategies, including designing websites and organizing wine exhibitions.
After their internship at SOWINE, Romain joined Scagex, a wholesale trade company for food and cleaning products, as an Internship Sales Development Manager. During their time there, they collaborated with Mars Caribbean to enhance product implementation in hypermarkets and received sales training. Romain also played a crucial role in organizing events, advertising through local media outlets, and managing special offers for the popular M&M's brand.
In 2011, Romain joined Paragon ID, an international leader in identification solutions, where they held two roles. Romain first served as an International Sales Engineer for their Transportation division. Here, they focused on improving the company's presence in the worldwide mass transit market, with specific attention to magnetic tickets, contactless tickets and cards, and marketing solutions. Romain'sresponsibilities included developing the customer portfolio, improving customer service, and building relationships with key original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Flowbird, Conduent, and Indra.
Later, Romain took on the role of International Sales Manager at Paragon ID's Transport & Smart Cities division. In this position, they were responsible for key account management, overseeing a yearly revenue of over €10 million. Romain managed an extensive agent network and established a strong presence in Asia, the Middle East, South Europe, and South America. Romain focused on promoting new offers, including M-ticketing based on QR and/or NFC technology, direct and open payment solutions, and Platform As A Service (PAAS) for small and medium cities. Romain also played a crucial role in consolidating and expanding Paragon ID's historical business activities, which included terminals, RFID cards and tickets, and magnetic solutions.
Romain BIZARD completed their education from 2007 to 2012 at ESC Rennes Business School, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business and Marketing. Romain'sfield of study focused on becoming a business engineer.
