Monica Castaneda

Monica Castaneda is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and project management, currently serving as a Sr. R&D Project Manager at Implant Direct since February 2013, where responsibilities include developing project plans and master schedules for a significant revenue portfolio, ensuring on-time delivery. Previously, as a Product Development Engineer, Monica managed large-scale new product development projects and led cross-functional teams to achieve high on-time delivery rates. In earlier roles as a Design Engineer, responsibilities involved creating product specifications, performing tolerance analyses, and developing detailed engineering drawings. Prior experience includes a position at Word Wide Aeros Corp, where Monica designed a 3-D model for a 66-ton payload aircraft. Monica holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Thermal Science from California State University, along with an AS in Computer Aided Drafting & Design from East Los Angeles College.
