Shawn Langlois

Shawn Langlois has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Shawn began their career in 1995 as an Account Executive at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where they worked for approximately a year. Following that, they joined ING as a Sales Associate, staying with the company until 1999. In 1999, Langlois joined MarketWatch as an Editor based in Los Angeles, where they played a key role in running a trading blog and writing a weekly column. During their time at MarketWatch, they covered various sectors, including tech, personal finance, and automotive, with a particular focus on the car industry since 2004. Their tenure at MarketWatch lasted until 2021 when they joined Paragon Insurance Holdings as the EVP of Communications.

Shawn Langlois received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1988 to 1993.
