Lucas Tucker is currently a Quantitative Portfolio Manager at Paragon Global Investments since December 2021, where leadership of a quantitative research pod is a primary responsibility. Previous experience includes a Software Engineering Internship at Adobe focused on automating software deployment/migration using LLM tools, a research role as Mathematics REU Student Researcher at the University of Chicago Department of Mathematics that resulted in a published paper on dimensionality reduction, and a Quantitative Research Internship at Actelligent Group, where work involved developing a sentiment classifier and data pipelining in Python. Earlier experience includes an Engineering Internship at Volans-i, modeling drone parts using Simplify3d. Lucas Tucker is pursuing a dual degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Chicago, with prior education at Campolindo High School and Head-Royce School.
