Tianyu Zhou's work experience includes positions at various companies. They worked as an Incoming Investment Banking Analyst at Santander, Head of Investing at Paragon National Group, and Investor at Wallchain. Tianyu also served as the Investing Head at Brown Investment Group and as a Growth Equity & Investment Banking Intern at Qvantea Capital. They were a Co-Founder & Trading Strategist at a Stealth Startup, where they developed core contracts and a spot trading platform. Tianyu Zhou completed their high school education at Berwick Academy from 2017 to 2020, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science. Tianyu then pursued further education at Cornell University in 2019-2020, studying International Relations and Affairs as well as Middle Eastern Studies. Currently, Tianyu is attending Brown University from 2020 to 2025, working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math - Computer Science and Political Economy. They also obtained a certification called the Virtual Insight Series from Goldman Sachs in 2022.

Paragon National Group is an intercollegiate student-run multi-strategy hedge fund with 7 chapters at Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, New York University, Princeton University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Pennsylvania. The organization is dedicated to the development of students in value investing and algorithmic trading. Members of PNG invest $40,000 into public equities across two funds: a long-only value investment fund and a systematic low and mid-frequency algorithmic trading fund.
