Edie Williams

Edie Williams has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Edie is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships, Communications, and New Business at Parallax Advanced Research, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Innovation Programs at Parallax Research from July 2021 to June 2022. From July 2020 to September 2021, they served as the Director of Creativity and Innovation at Parallax Advanced Research, where they supported the Air Force and other Defense priorities by implementing best practices and methods for creativity, innovation, and high-performing teams.

Before joining Parallax, Edie co-owned EIOrg Consulting starting from June 2018, offering management consulting services and strategic communications. Edie also served as President at MEW Consulting since June 2004, providing management consulting, strategic communications, organizational diagnosis, and coaching.

In addition to their consulting roles, Edie has worked as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University from July 2014 to May 2018, where they likely taught organizational and business-related courses. Edie also had a distinguished career in the US Navy, serving as Captain from September 1979 to June 2004.

In 1990, Edie Williams attended the U.S. Naval War College, where they completed a Master's degree in Military Strategic Studies, General. Moving on to higher education, they enrolled at The George Washington University from 2010 to 2013 and achieved a Doctorate of Education, specializing in Human and Organizational Learning.

Aside from their academic achievements, Edie Williams also obtained an additional certification in March 2014 as an ICF Certified Leadership Coach from the International Coach Federation.
