Justin Tullos

Justin Tullos has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Justin currently works as an Embedded Systems Reverse Engineer at Parallax Advanced Research since 2023. Before that, they had various roles at the United States Air Force, including Reserve IMA Officer, MilComm & PNT Engineering, SSC, Director Of Operations, Assistant Director of Operations, and Graduate Student. As a Graduate Student, Justin earned a Master of Science Electrical Engineering degree with a specialization in the Software Engineering program. Justin also served as a Chief Engineer, managing a team of 16 engineers in aircraft modification projects. Additionally, Justin worked as a Program Manager & Training Operations Officer, where they developed and implemented a training program for Afghanistan's national army and police force. Justin created a relational database to automate data entry and improve the process of selecting students for training. Previously, they had roles as a Project Manager and Lead Engineer. At WeVibin, a startup, Justin worked as a Lead Software Engineer, designing the software architecture for a consumer product aimed at addressing attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Lastly, they were a Test Engineer at Woodward, Inc. from 2011 to 2012.

Justin Tullos completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2011. Subsequently, they attended the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/Software Engineering. In addition to their academic achievements, Justin Tullos holds a certification in Security Cooperation Management from the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
