Phong Nguyen is a Jr. Developer at Parallax Volatility Advisers, LP, since March 2016. Prior to this role, Phong worked as a Research Assistant at the Carnegie Institute for Science from May 2014 to May 2015, where responsibilities included conducting plant bio experiments to identify causal genes in QTL gene clusters associated with salt tolerance and developing techniques for stable genetic transformation of duckweed. Phong obtained a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, completing studies in 2014.
