Femi Bakre

Femi Bakre is the Managing Director at Parallex Bank. Femi has over fifteen years of experience in the banking sector.

Bakre started their career in 2004 as a Deputy General Manager at MBC International Bank. In 2009, they became the Group Head - Multilaterals & Financial Institutions at FirstBank Nigeria. The following year, they were promoted to Business Development Manager. In 2010, they were promoted again to Group Head - Public Sector (Deputy General Manager). Femi left FirstBank Nigeria in 2011 to become the Executive Director - Institutional Banking at First City Monument Bank Limited. Femi held this position for two years before being promoted to Executive Director - Lagos & SW Region. Femi left First City Monument Bank Limited in 2016 to join Parallex Bank as Managing Director.

Femi Bakre has a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos. Femi also has a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos. Femi Bakre has also completed their HSC from School of Basic Studies, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State and GCE from Ago-Iwoye Secondary School, Ogun State.
