Nagaraja Canchi

A seasoned energy professional with a passion for renewable energy technologies, leadership, and business strategy, Nagaraja Canchi, presently leads the growth strategy team at Param Renewable, India’s leading O&M solution provider, empowering and encouraging people to adopt renewable energy as an avenue of investment.

As the Chief Growth Officer, spearheading business development and growth initiatives for the company. Under his leadership, Param has witnessed almost 3X growth in its portfolio, i.e., from 2.68 GW to an impressive 7 GW in two years.

Nagaraja previously worked with BMM Ispat Ltd (JSW Steel), Essar Power Limited (Essar Group), JSW Energy Limited (JSW GROUP) and Skeiron Renewables (SUZLON GROUP). Involved in the production of internationally competitive Sponge Iron, overseeing a processing output of 500x2 tons per day and executing troubleshooting and maintenance strategies, effectively minimizing downtime while at BMM Ispat Ltd (JSW Steel). During tenure at JSW Energy, played a crucial role in commencing the Solar Power Business in JSW Group, while successfully commissioning various solar projects including rooftop and ground-mounted installations.

A double Post-Graduate degree holder, an alumnus of Bapuji Institute, JSW Energy Center of Excellence, and TERI University. Continues his academic pursuits and is presently studying at National Law University for a Master of Law degree.
