Alex Edelman

Alex Edelman, CIMA has a solid work experience in the investment industry. Alex is currently working as a Vice President and Senior Investment Strategist at Parametric since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Client Portfolio Manager at Invesco US, where they played a lead role in managing new institutional and sub-advisory business opportunities and represented the investment team and key investment strategies to clients. Before that, they held multiple roles at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, including Vice President, Senior Portfolio Specialist, Vice President, Platform Distribution, and Vice President, Investment Strategy Consultant. In these roles, they were responsible for representing Tax Efficient Equity Portfolios as a subject matter expert, facilitating fund positioning within platform alliances, and serving as an investment liaison to intermediary sales force. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Investment Marketing Manager at Allmerica Financial and as an Internal Wholesaler at Eaton Vance.

Alex Edelman, CIMA attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1980 to 1984, focusing on Finance. In 2005, they obtained the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification from the Investments & Wealth Institute. Additionally, they acquired the Series- 7 and Series- 66 certifications from FINRA, however, specific information regarding the month and year of obtaining these certifications is not provided.
