Ranjit Kapila

Ranjit Kapila has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and finance. Ranjit currently holds the position of Co-President and Chief Operating Officer at Parametric. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer (COO & CTO) at Parametric starting in September 2019. Before joining Parametric, Ranjit worked at BlackRock for over a decade, where they served as the Managing Director of the Aladdin Product Group and Senior Director of Technology, Fixed Income Trading Solutions. Ranjit also had a role as the Senior Manager of Software Engineering at BlackRock, focusing on Hedge Funds & Derivatives Platform.

In addition, Ranjit has experience working at Citadel Investment Group as a Manager in the Clearing Systems department. Ranjit also had roles at The Rouse Company as a Senior Consultant in the Retail Development Advisors (RDA) team, RDA as a Team Lead/Associate Project Manager, Arbitron as a Project Manager/Senior Consultant (RDA), NASDAQ as a Senior Consultant, and ICARUS Corp. (now Aspen Technology) as the Manager of Graphics Technology. Ranjit's work experience spans multiple industries and positions, showcasing their expertise in operations, technology, and finance.

Ranjit Kapila pursued their education starting from 1982 to 1986 at St. Paul's School in Darjeeling. Ranjit then attended The Air Force School from 1986 until 1988. Afterward, from 1988 to 1992, they studied at Punjab Engineering College, where they received their degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Following this, they went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from American University, attending from 1992 to 1994. Finally, Ranjit furthered their education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing, where they obtained an MBA degree between 2003 and 2006.
