Vijoy Gaddipati

Vijoy Gaddipati is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the animation industry, currently serving as a Senior Technical Director at Paramount Animation since September 2019. In this role, Vijoy leads technical direction for feature animation production workflows and tool development, contributing to notable projects such as The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, Rumble, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Prior to this, Vijoy held the position of General Technical Director at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where involvement in significant films like Frozen, Moana, and Zootopia was noted. Earlier career positions included Technical Lead at Shell Oil Company/Palladium Consulting, Senior Technical Director at Sony Pictures Imageworks, and FX Lead/Technical Director at Cinesite/Kodak. Vijoy holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Osmania University.
