Mario Fulgieri

Mario Fulgieri has over 20 years of work experience in the field of tax consulting. Mario is currently serving as the SVP of Tax at Paramount Group since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked at EY as a Managing Director in Real Estate Tax from December 2014 to May 2019. Before joining EY, Mario held various roles at Starwood Capital Group, including Principal at Frydland Stevens LLC from January 2008 to December 2014, Of Counsel at Rinaldi, Finkelstein & Franklin, LLC from February 2006 to January 2008, and Tax Consultant from July 2005 to February 2006. Mario also worked as a Tax Consultant at their own firm, Mario Fulgieri, from December 2004 to February 2006. Mario began their career as a Tax Associate at White & Case from December 2000 to November 2004, and later worked as a Tax Associate at Farrell Fritz, P.C. from March 1999 to November 2000. Mario's first role in the field was as an Associate at Katz & Bernstein, LLP from March 1997 to March 1999. Mario started their professional journey at Deloitte as a Tax Consultant from October 1996 to March 1997.

Mario Fulgieri attended Hofstra University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a BBA in Accounting. Mario then pursued a JD degree at Fordham University School of Law from 1993 to 1996. Mario obtained their first certification, being admitted to the New York Bar, in February 1997. Later, in October 2006, they were admitted to the Connecticut Bar. Mario obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy in October 2010 and from the New York State Education Department in June 2015.
