Kaila Lewis

Kaila Lewis, P.Eng., is an experienced drilling engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Drilling Engineer/Superintendent at Paramount Resources since August 2025, Kaila previously held the position of Senior Drilling Engineer at Strathcona Resources Ltd. and worked at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) as a Drilling Engineer, where responsibilities included planning and executing production and disposal wells in the Deep Basin. Prior experience includes significant roles at National Oilwell Varco, where Kaila progressed from a Drilling Solutions Engineer to Senior positions within the ReedHycalog Design Engineering group, focusing on drill bit design and optimization. Early career development involved field production and gas plant operations at Pengrowth Energy Corporation. Kaila holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta.
