Nicole Cheriyan has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Nicole started their career at Suncor Energy in 2002 as a Production Engineer, where they were responsible for well optimization and completion programs. Nicole then moved on to become a Reservoir Engineer in the Acquisitions & Divestitures team, where they evaluated acquisition opportunities in unconventional gas plays. Additionally, Cheriyan worked as a Project Economist, conducting economic evaluations for offshore oil projects. Nicole took a personal leave from 2012 to 2014 before joining SM Energy Company as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer, specializing in unconventional shale. In this role, they developed field development plans and optimized cash flow. Cheriyan is currently working at Paramount Resources, where they have held roles such as Senior Reservoir Engineer, Manager of Reservoir Engineering & Reserves, and is currently serving as the Director of Reservoir Engineering and Reserves.
Nicole Cheriyan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta from 1997 to 2002.
