Margaret Velez

Margaret Velez is an experienced professional in content operations and acquisitions, with a career spanning multiple roles in the media industry. At Jukin Media, from November 2019 to November 2021, Velez served as Coordinator of Content Acquisitions and Operations, where responsibilities included the packaging and transferring of content to distribution partners while managing operational processes. Following this, Velez progressed to Paramount, starting as an Assistant Editor in August 2022, and later taking on roles such as Supervisor of Acquisitions Operations and Manager of Global Media Coordination, overseeing media and localization fulfillment for Paramount+ on both US and International platforms. Additional experience includes a position as Coordinator of Global Content Operations at Aperture Entertainment and roles as a Management Intern at XYZ Films and Content Intern prior to completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from DePaul University in 2019.
