Rich Newman

Rich Newman is an accomplished Principal Software Engineer at Parasoft since April 2002, focusing on the design and maintenance of Insure++, an advanced automated C/C++ program debugger. Previously, Rich served as a Software Engineer at DIRECTV from 2000 to 2002, where contributions included designing applications for optimizing data packets in video streams and developing remote control applications for video collection centers, leading to a patent award. Earlier experience includes roles at DataPlus, where Rich developed an automated adaptive compression tape backup system and various database functions, Motivational Fulfillment and Packaging Services, where oversight of UNIX systems and inventory systems occurred, Ericsson Telecommunications, where utility programs for telecommunications switches were created, and Bell & Howell, where software for remittance processing terminals was implemented.
