Emmanuel Thompson

Emmanuel Thompson is an accomplished Sr. UX/UI Designer at Parata Systems, specializing in pharmacy automation and workflow solutions since June 2021. Previously, Emmanuel served as a Senior User Experience Designer at SAS Institute, contributing to the design and standardization of SAS products for Fortune 500 companies. As the Executive Director of the nonprofit Swey Community, Emmanuel established programs to support youth in design and entrepreneurship. Earlier roles include Sr. User Experience Designer at Allscripts, where Emmanuel developed a mobile app for home care, and Design Fellow at the Smithsonian Institution, where a website was designed for the Smithsonian African American Association. Additional experience includes management and design roles at the North Carolina Arts Council and See Saw Studio, as well as animation work at Divine Comedy. Emmanuel holds a Master of Art + Design and a Bachelor of Art + Design from North Carolina State University.
