Jerry Burgener

Jerry Burgener has extensive experience in commercial operations and sales effectiveness. Jerry is currently serving as the Senior Director of Commercial Operations at Paratek Pharmaceuticals, where they lead the Commercial Operations group and provides strategic direction in areas such as business operations, sales force effectiveness, and multi-channel targeting. Prior to this, Jerry worked at CSL Behring as the Sales Operations Senior Lead, where they managed a team responsible for sales force effectiveness, sales analysis, and CRM. Jerry also has experience as an executive-level consultant in the startup biotech industry, providing consultation on sales and marketing effectiveness. Before that, Jerry held various roles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where they directed strategic and operational functions in incentive compensation design and administration, alignments and optimization, and sales and marketing effectiveness. Jerry also worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as the Senior Manager of Sales Force Effectiveness and Alignments and Optimization. Jerry began their career at The SEARLE Company Ltd. as a District Sales Manager.

Jerry Burgener has a Master of Science degree in Cellular Genetics from Western Illinois University. Jerry also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from the same university. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jerry has obtained certifications in the Harvard Business Foundational Leadership Program from CSL Behring in November 2021. Jerry is also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) and holds a PMP Certification, both obtained from The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson.
