Joao A.f Baptista

Joao A.F Baptista is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and technical roles. Currently serving as the Technical Director at ANTOSC, SA, since May 2024, Joao previously held the position of Infrastructure Manager at ITA - Internet Technologies Angola, S.A., where responsibilities included designing, setting up, installing, and maintaining networks. At Angola Cables, from June 2012 to February 2021, Joao served as a Project Administrator, Project Senior Technical Engineer, and Station Engineer/Cables System Project Manager, overseeing significant submarine cable projects and ensuring quality standards and procurement processes. Prior experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer at OPS ANGOLA and Volkswagen Group South Africa, focusing on maintenance and integrity of electrical systems. Joao holds an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nelson Mandela University and a Junior Engineer degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Instituto Industrial de Luanda - IMIL.
