Kavya Padmesh

Kavya Padmesh has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Software Engineer at Bosch from July 2011 to December 2014. Kavya then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary from September 2015 to October 2017. Following that, they were a Summer Intern at chata.ai from June 2017 to September 2017. Kavya then joined Paravision as a Machine Learning Engineer in February 2018 and later moved on to become a Machine Learning Research Scientist in April 2021, where they are currently employed.

Kavya Padmesh completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from NMAM Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Kavya then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Kavya obtained several certifications, including "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in November 2017, "Machine Learning by Stanford University" from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2016, and "Tri-council Policy Statement: Ethical conduct for research involving humans" from Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board, University of Calgary in January 2016.
