Tarek Mohamed, PhD, is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in drug design and development, particularly in oncology and central nervous system disorders. Currently serving as Principal Scientist and Team Lead at Paraza Pharma Inc., Tarek has been instrumental in developing novel chemical series aimed at pre-clinical nomination, employing structural biology and medicinal chemistry strategies. Tarek's previous roles include Senior Scientist and Scientist positions, where contributions led to several pre-clinical nominations and the nomination of a clinical candidate. At Appili Therapeutics, Tarek utilized structure-based drug design to optimize anti-infective leads.
