Parce rum was started by Chicago brothers Jim, Patrick, & Brian Powers, with longtime Medellin friend Jaime Uribe, as a way to build a business that would combine their deep appreciation for Colombia and outstanding spirits. The idea was born in 2011, in a finca high above the Rio Cauca valley, about a three hour drive from Medellín.
Parce is our earnest, and admittedly idealistic, attempt to bottle our deep
affection for a beautiful culture, land, and people, and share it with the rest
of the world. To us, this meant nothing less than producing the very best aged rums in the sipping style embraced by the Colombian people and blended to provide the drier, whiskey-like finish we favor. Thanks to Bogota Master Blenders Arthur and Brojen Fernandes Domecq for our blend and everyone else who has helped make our award-winning rum possible.

We are also very proud of the 30,000 native species trees Parce has planted to date in Colombia as a result of our initial One bottle=One Tree campaign in partnership with Contreebute.com, and we continue to have trees planted with profits from purchases of parce. As a true testament to Parce’s dedication and craftsmanship, every batch of our exclusive 8 and 12-year Colombian rums is a meticulous blend of 100% real aged, premium rum. Our signature 8 Year expression offers an artfully balanced blend of rich flavors that warm and entice the palate, while the complex, rich profile and lingering finish of our 12-year sipping rum is perfect for the most discerning taste. Whether a casual rum drinker or ultra premium spirits aficionado, we warmly invite you to enjoy our award-winning rum. Made con gusto.
