Edward Toth

Edward Toth has extensive work experience in data science and research. Edward is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Parcel Perform since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Data Scientist at Friz (YC W21) from October 2020 to April 2021. Edward also worked as a Data Science Intern at CMC Insurance Solutions (now Lorica Health) from September 2017 to July 2018. Additionally, they have experience as a Research Analyst at a Government Organization from June 2015 to August 2017, where they focused on evaluating named entity recognition software and applying machine learning tools. Edward also worked as a Research Analyst at the School of Medicine, University of Sydney, where they analyzed and evaluated the impact of Big Data technologies on healthcare practices. Finally, they conducted research on the detection and estimation of change points in dependence structure as part of their role at the University of Sydney from February 2013 to November 2013.

Edward Toth completed their education at the University of Sydney. Edward first pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from 2010 to 2013. Later, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Statistics and machine learning from 2014 to 2018.
