Tasha Blazer

Tasha Blazer is a highly experienced Clinical Social Worker with a diverse background in mental health services. Currently serving as the Clinical Social Worker Lead at UNC Health Pardee since February 2024, Tasha previously worked as a Psychotherapist at Carolina Behavioral Care Centers and as a Clinical Instructor at the UNC Department of Emergency Medicine. Tasha's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Freedom House Recovery Center, where responsibilities included Clinical Director and Director of Crisis Services, as well as positions in various capacities at Walter B. Jones ADATC, Smoky Mountain Center for MH, SA & DD, Haywood County Department of Social Services, and Eliada Homes. Tasha holds a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from East Carolina University and a double Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Work from Appalachian State University.
