José Morey

José Morey is a seasoned professional serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Ad Astra Steam Media, LLC since July 2019, focusing on uplifting underserved communities through STEAM education. Morey is also an Eisenhower Fellow, contributing to global leadership diversity, and a founder member of Parenthood Ventures, which supports ParentTech startups. In addition, Morey serves as a mentor at MIT Solve, an advisory council member for the National STEM Honor Society, and an AI Ambassador for deeplearning.ai. An educator, Morey holds faculty positions at Singularity University, the University of Virginia, and Eastern Virginia Medical School. Previously, Morey contributed to Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc. as Chief Engineer Council for Innovation and Human Factors. Morey holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida and completed an internship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
