Ian Tufts

Ian Tufts has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ian currently holds the position of CTO at ParentPay starting from February 2022. Prior to that, Ian worked at GL Education as a CTO from February 2019 to February 2022. Ian also served as the CIO/COO at Autocab Ltd from January 2017 to February 2019. Ian's experience includes being the Group CIO at learndirect Limited from December 2013 to August 2016, and the VP of Engineering at Performance Horizon Group from an unspecified date in 2012 to November 2013. Ian has also held the role of Head of Research & Development at Sage UK Ltd from October 2003 to an unspecified date in 2012. Earlier in their career, Ian worked as a Programme Manager at Pindar Technologies from 2002 to 2003 and as a Senior Project Manager/Bid Director at BT Syntegra from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they served as a Software Development Manager at Pindar Technologies from 1999 to 2001 and as a Project Manager at EDS (Defence) Ltd from 1998 to 1999.

Ian Tufts earned a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours degree in Electronic Communications from The University of Salford, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. Ian later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computing Science at Newcastle University, completing it from 1994 to 1995.
