Stefano Girolami

Stefano Girolami is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Group Managing Director Engineering at Innovo Renewables S.p.A. since July 2022, Stefano previously held roles including Engineering Manager Italy at Statkraft, where responsibilities involved managing teams and overseeing project development exceeding 500MW. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Manager Europe at Solarcentury, leading project engineering teams across Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK, and foundational roles as a Project Engineer at Photon Energy. Stefano holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor of Engineering in Management Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
