Ryan Glenn Smith

Ryan Glenn Smith has a diverse work experience that spans over several fields. Ryan Glenn started their career as a Public Affairs Specialist in the US Army, where they wrote and edited articles for military publications and served as a press liaison. During their service, they earned a Joint-Service Commendation Medal for their deployment to Iraq.

Following their military career, Ryan worked as a Sparks Fiction Fellow at the University of Notre Dame. In this role, they taught undergraduate creative writing courses and provided administrative assistance to the Creative Writing Program.

Ryan then transitioned to the field of photography and worked as a Production Assistant at Stuart-Rodgers Photography. Their responsibilities included operating and troubleshooting print processing systems, managing inventory, and performing photo retouching and database management.
