Parents as Teachers National Center
Abigail Edwards is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Behavioral Science and Health Education at Saint Louis University, expected to graduate in May 2024. Edwards has gained practical experience as a Student Worker at Oregon Health & Science University and as an intern at Parents as Teachers National Center since May 2023. Previously, Edwards served as a Youth Counselor at Two Rivers YMCA from November 2018 to August 2022, where responsibilities included providing healthy meals and facilitating developmental activities for elementary and kindergarten students. Additional experience includes a role as a Childcare Assistant at Kid's Corner in summer 2021, overseeing preschool-aged children. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a focus on Bioethics and Health Studies, graduated in May 2023.
