David Buttrick has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David started their career at Kinko's as a Copyist from 1990 to 1992. David then moved on to Mo.net as a Web Master, where they managed both Unix and Windows hosting environments for 80 commercial customers and automated traffic analysis tools.
In 1997, they joined The Sporting News as a Database Administrator & WEB Developer, where they edited web pages, maintained the Informix database, and improved performance and reliability of the online publishing system.
From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a System Administrator at Williams Communications, managing systems running HP OpenView, developing network monitoring tools, and creating a peering relationship graph tool.
In 2003, they joined Talisen Technologies as a Software Developer, building components for a web-based system used by commercial airline manufacturers to manage data.
Since 2006, they have been associated with the Parents as Teachers National Center, initially as a Programming Manager and later as a Senior Software Developer. In this role, they developed new features, managed the lifecycle of the Aptify installation, and configured and managed the software development toolchain.
David Buttrick attended The Buxton School from 1983 to 1986. After that, they attended Westminster College (MO) from 1986 to 1990, although no degree or field of study information was provided for either institution. In addition to their educational background, David Buttrick obtained a certification in Advanced SQL for Query Tuning and Performance Optimization from LinkedIn in October 2020.
