Lyle Cates

Lyle Cates has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Lyle started their career in 1989 as a Design Engineer at Coilcraft, where they implemented a training department for manufacturing equipment and significantly increased production. In 1994, they joined Gateway as a Technical Advisor, providing training and support to technical staff and acting as a liaison with the production floor. From 2002 to 2013, they worked at Sandia Information Design as a Directing Manager. In this role, they oversaw various projects and managed the overall operations of the company. Most recently, they worked at Parents as Teachers National Center as a Web Developer, where they upgraded the CMS system and web portal to be responsive and functional on different devices.

Lyle Cates began their education in 1992 at Western Iowa Tech, where they pursued a field of study in Mechanical Engineering/Automation. Lyle completed their Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in 1994. Following this, in 1997, Lyle attended The University of New Mexico to further their education in Computer Programming for one year. Although they studied Computer Programming, it is not mentioned whether they attained a degree from this institution.
