Tiril Villum has worked in various financial and banking roles throughout their career. Tiril started as a Trainee at ABB Financial Services AS in 1992 and then moved on to work as a Middle Office analyst at ABB Financial Services, where they gained knowledge in controlling and analyzing interest and currency risk. Tiril then became the Finance Manager at ABB AS, where they specialized in risk assessment for large projects within the ABB Group. In 1999, they transitioned to the role of Finance Manager at ABB Industri AS. Later, they joined SEB Privatbanken as the CFO, where they also served as Deputy CEO from 2004 to 2005. Tiril then moved to Pareto Bank ASA, first as the CFO and later as the CEO, focusing on property finance, corporate and securities finance, and shipping and offshore finance. Through their work experience, Tiril Villum has gained expertise in areas such as funding, risk management, liquidity management, and investor relations.
Tiril Villum attended HEC Paris from 1991 to 1992, studying Management International. Prior to that, they obtained their Siviløkonom degree in International Studies and Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) between 1988 and 1992.
